Okay, to make sure we understand each other, what you meant by your first statement is that you have now unplugged your monitor from your GT 430 card and are now using your integrated 6150SE card, and the monitor works fine on the 6150 integrated card.

For your second statement, what you meant was that the computer beeped 7 times when you had your GT 430 card installed, but did not beep when you took the card out.

So, you now believe that the monitor is not the problem now.

Is what I just mentioned correct?

Oh I'm so sorry to mention this ( or I did mention) but I have build in display and I bought a NEW graphic card and the monitor doesn't work when plugged into it, so in this case my new graphic card doesn't work since it gives no signal to monitor. But when I unplug from new installed graphic card slot into build display slot it works, which means that the monitor works. I'm using dvi to VGA adaptor for plugging my new graphic card into monitor. I'm thinking of buying a new dvi cable but it's hard to find because it's old.. So do you get my question? If not tell me and I'm really sorry if so :p

Okay, I think I understand you a little bit more.

When you start up your computer using the 6670 in the slot, did you check to see whether the card's fans were spinning, and could your BIOS detect the card?

so I did the pci-e thingy in BIOS and cleaned the pci express slot and firmly stuck into the slot whole plugged it in again no luck...

You also mentioned in your 1st post that you did a PCI-E thingy in your BIOS, what do you mean by this?

In bios I ( on boot up i press f10 and enter setup) and change the video adapter from onboard to pci-e slot so my computer well know where my graphic card is located. And yes my fan is spinning on my new graphic card but it seems to give no signal to monitor, it's really strange because It worked a day ago perfectly fine..

Thanks for answering my questions.

So it seems to be more of a monitor detection issue then.

You did not mention in your system specs what the brand/model of the monitor is.

Who is the manufacturer of the monitor and what is its model?

It's

Hmm, you really think so? Monitor itself is the issue then hmm, I'm going to buy a new monitor then.. Oh sorry I think it's LCD 19 inch hp monitor year 2007 I think . I can't check because I'm in bed with an iPhone .. So what about if I buy the dvi cables and plug both VGA and dvi cables?

The monitor supports DVI cables?

In that case before you do anything drastic and buy another monitor, buy some new DVI cables and try to use them with the 6670 graphics card and see whether it works. Also, try buying another VGA --> DVI adapter and testing that out too.

It is a lot cheaper to buy new DVI cables then to consider a new monitor/graphics card replacement.

We can continue this session later after you've tried out the new DVI cables/adapter.

Are you using just one monitor? Are you connecting the monitor to the mobo connection slot or the GPU connection slot?

He mentioned that his monitor (single setup) works just fine with his onboard card, but doesn't show an input signal when plugged into his new AMD 6670 using a VGA cable via a DVI to VGA adapter..

He's going to try using/purchasing a DVI cable as the next step in the troubleshooting process, as the monitor supports both DVI and VGA cables, but he only has a VGA cable right now, which is why the adapter was used in the 1st place with the card...

So my monitor is HP w1907 Wide LCD Monitor. Im really concerned that i need to plug both dvi slots in my monitor to my graphic card.. is that true? what do you think?

Sorry for the late response.

After checking out your monitor's specs from the HP website:-

Product Specifications HP w1907 19 inch LCD Monitor - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

It seems like the next step for you is to get just one of those DVI-D cables and try plugging one end to your 6670 graphics card and one end to the monitor for further testing.

Something like this:-

For only $5.19 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 6ft 28AWG CL2 Dual Link DVI-D Cable - Black | 28AWG DVI-D Cables
