The reason was to see how many hard drives and their arrangement. TomTom shows 3 operating systems in his avatar. The photo shows 1 hard drive and one operating system. That's confusing to me.

Yeah, there were but I got rid of them temporarily. I've just not updated my profile.

If your interested in how it's going to laid out it'll be like this:
270GB - Windows 7
20GB - Windows 8 RP
10GB - Ubuntu
Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64 AMD FX6300 3.6GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) 6 core Black... Crucial Ballistix Tactial 8GB (2x4GB) 1866MHz ASUS Radeon HD6850 1GB Computer typePC/Desktop Computer Manufacturer/Model NumberCustom Build OSWindows 7 Professional SP1 x64 CPUAMD FX6300 3.6GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) 6 core Black Edition MotherboardASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX Socket AM3+ MemoryCrucial Ballistix Tactial 8GB (2x4GB) 1866MHz Graphics Card(s)ASUS Radeon HD6850 1GB Monitor(s) DisplaysHP 22xi 21.5" Monitor Screen Resolution1920x1080p Hard DrivesWestern Digital 1TB SATA6 64MB Cache WD10EZEX PSUCorsair CX500 500W (Non modular) CaseFractal Design Define Mini Cooling2x Fractal Design 120MM 1200RPM, GPU fan, CPU fan, PSU fan KeyboardLogitech EX100 Keyboard MouseLogitech MX Revoloution Internet Speed~37Mbps down, ~15Mbps up AntivirusAvast Anti-virus BrowserGoogle Chrome Other InfoWireless card: TP-Link TL-WN781ND 150Mbps PCI-E Card

Yes it is! That's the entry to look out for!
Like I said Im no expert with this, why is mine different, I do have the option in device manager to install that driver, is it worth it Solarmystic. Im running an ssd though
Danny
Yours is a
custom one by Intel. Keep what you have, it could be better than the
generic one by Windows. The one shown by the OP is a
generic AHCI driver by Microsoft.
For a reference point, here's mine after updating it with the Intel INF utlity:-

Updating with Intel INF utility doesn't change the driver, it just gives that device a new name. Both yours and Danny's pics indicate you have the reference Microsoft driver. Which is, as far as I know, equal in performance with the Intel ones.
