Incidentally, as you noticed from the info I gave in the post on WDO, you are looking at less than 800 kb , in other words, less then 0.8 mbytes. I doubt that such a file will put you over your limit.

another crash

Well it lasted 6 days before it crashed again...
I just put the laptop on standby and plugged in the transformer to charge it and when I came back about an hour later it had turned off completely. I started it up and I got the message that it had shut down unexpectedly. About 5 days ago I carried out the Defender Offline check and all was clear.
I don't think there was a dump this time either, but have attached the files/logs anyway. I await any more advice you may have.Thanks.

Ctrl + V will NOT work.

Right-click will work. You do realize that first you must use select the info to be pasted, then use CTRL+C to copy the selected info to the clipboard. Now when you right-click, what is in the clipboard gets pasted.

You can make your selection, then open NOTEPAD and paste into notepad (the info will still be in the clipboard, even after the paste) to make sure that your copied the selection to the clipboard.

I've made a couple of changes to the script so that I can spot certain information easier.

Would you please use this revised version? Sorry for the inconvenience.

You missed one important minidump setting.

STARTUP AND RECOVERY SETTINGS
WIN + PAUSE/BREAK key combo |
Advanced system settings (left-hand side) |
Advanced
tab, Startup and Recovery section, Settings |
System Failure section | checkmark Write an Event to the system log
| uncheck
Automatically restart |

Under Write debugging information, select Small memory dump |
in the Small dump directory: box, enter %SystemRoot%\Minidump| OK

If Overwrite any existing file is checked, then:
Ø Under Write debugging information, select Kernel memory dump
!!!!!!#####################!!!!! This is the one you missed!
Ø
Uncheck Overwrite any existing file

That must be unchecked so that you can collect more than one .dmp file.

Sorry for the delay, had to sleep...probably your turn now.
Ok, I fixed that one I missed (didn't think it was necessary because it was greyed out) and here is the new output from the revised functions..

Your log files do not look correct.

You will need to run WDO again. Run the full scan.
