Recently I've started getting crashes in ntdll.dll. I'm seeing it in failed Windows Update installs and some third party apps. I've run chkdsk /f and chkdsk /r - the disk is essentially error free. I've opened an elevated command prompt and tried running system file checker (sfc /scannow) and this fails at 18% with:
"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation"
I've tried running sfc /scannow in SAFE mode and also from the Windows Startup Repair screen - it fails at the same point with the same error. I'll appreciate any suggestions about how to try to fix this. TIA
Edit: Files from SF Diagnostic tool have been uploaded - see Victek.zip
