Help me decide between 3 set ups

I am looking for a set up that will allow me to play all the latest games on my pc,I have taken it down to 3 set ups could u have a look and tell me which one is best and any adjustments i would need to make for it to work.

CD Drive

+ 500gig 7200 RPM HDD

Motherboard, Processor, RAM, Graphics Card, Case and PSU

Tough to judge because most brand names are uncommon or not shown at all---power supply, motherboard, etc.

I'd suggest another supplier if at all possible where we can get a better idea what you are buying instead of just generic descriptions like "500 watt PSU". I'd expect that to likely be rubbish.

Anyone else because if for example the only problem is the PSU i could easily replace that

I just looked at the power supplies available from your source Tekheads.co.uk.

They have a poor selection.

The only high quality power supplies they have are much more powerful than you need and are quite expensive.

You need only a good 450 watt area PSU. But they don't have one.

If you have absolutely no other source for parts, I would get this one:

Corsair CMPSU-430CXV2 430W 80 PLUS Certified ATX PSU [CMPSU-430CXV2UK] from Tekheads.co.uk

It is 36.95 pounds.


But it would not be my first choice. It's just the best of a bad lot without going way up to 75 pounds for the Corsair TX 650, which is much more power than you need.

I'd go elsewhere. I'll help you pick parts at a better site, but that dealer is poor.

Did you read post number 3 above?

I have no idea what country you are in.

It's up to you to find a seller in or near your location, from which you might buy.

And post a link to that seller.

If you mean, do they have a better selection than Tekheads: yes.

If you mean, are they honest or are they thieves: I have no idea.

Ebuyer and Amazon UK are the only other UK sources I know of.

You need to ask other people in the UK about good and reliable possibilities.

I'll help you choose parts wherever you say, but I have no info AT ALL about honesty, reliability, or how easy the seller is to work with.

I'm not in the UK and have no experience whatsoever with them.

All I know is that they are quite popular among the overclocking community in the UK.


They have a good selection of parts, meaning not much. For all I know, they are thieves.
