I'm new to this forum so hopefully you guys can help me out.

There are three issues with my system at this point that are driving me nuts.

1.) I cannot see anything under "Network" in Explorer
--I rebooted several times and neither my desktop, laptop, nor NAS device show up. It was working fine last night and I have no idea what happened!

2.) When I try to open Device Manager, I get a message that says, "Navigation to the webpage was canceled."
--If I refresh the page, I get an error saying, "MMC has detected an error in a snap-in. It is recommended that you shut down and restart MMC." I rebooted the computer several times and tried again to no effect. Still gives me the same message every time.

3.) I wanted to take a snapshot of that Device Manager error and so I tried to open Snipping Tool and that too doesn't work! It gives me an error saying, "The Snipping Tool is not working on your computer right now. Restart your computer, and then try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator."
--I cannot believe this! How can snipping tool not work? Restarting the computer didn't help and I have no idea how to get these to work properly.

Everything else seems to work fine on my computer. I play games and watched a movie and things seem to be okay as far as that goes, but these three things are driving me up the wall.

Can someone please help me?

TTA,
After carrying out Layback Bear's recommendation:
1. post the results.

2. Restore your computer to a restore point prior to the advent of the problem. And yes, you do have restore points. Microsoft is looking out for you.

RESTORE TO A PREVIOUS SYSTEM RESTORE POINT
1) WIN | type SYSTEM RESTORE | ENTER | NEXT
| Choose a different restore point radio button | NEXT
2) Show more restore pointscheckbox (lower left)
3) Highlight the desired restore point
4) Scan for affected programs(lower right)make a note of affected programs
5) CLOSE | NEXT | FINISH

WIN = key with the Microsoft logo on top.

Also have an Asus ha1002xp netbook with Win 7 Ultimate installed.
Try running this from cmd prompt/admin.
%SystemRoot%\System32\Cmd.exe /c Cleanmgr /sageset:65535 & Cleanmgr /sagerun:65535

I ran that and it seemed to clear the temp files (DiskCleanup ?) but it did nothing as far as the issues are concerned. I still get the same problems of not being able to see Device Manager, my network devices, or use Snipping Tool. :(

Okay, now I'm really concerned. System Restore DOES NOT WORK!

I keep getting this when trying to run System Restore after it reboots:

If I do a "Repair Install" of the OS, will I lose my programs/games and files? The problem I have is that the OS is installed on the C drive (2 ssds in RAID0) and the games/programs are installed on another ssd RAID0 array. If I do the repair install, would it screw up those files or does it touch/repair only the system files?

Also, I had only 3 restore points in my system. I tried all three and the earliest one was 09/12/12 where I installed Dead Space 2. All three of them gave me the same error.

Did you see point 4 in that procedure?

On another matter, I'm going to bow out because Raid 0 buys you nothing but trouble. There are no advantages to Raid 0 but many disadvantages. I leave googling and learning about various raid configurations to you.

I'm gone. I wish you good luck.

Yea I saw the affected programs; they were the Nvidia drivers (installed yesterday) and dead space 2.

also, can you please answer my question about the repair install? please, before you 'bow out'.
