Can't boot to windows Can't Run sfc/ Acer Arcade Ruined it!

For the past week, I've been struggling to get my computer back
up.
Initially, I accidentally hit the Acer arcade button on my PC which booted to Acer Arcade. Since then I have not been able to boot to windows.

I've never had a hard disk problem before. So it didn't seem as the drive was failing.

I have literally tried nearly everything. No joke.

First I had a black screen with blinking cursor.
Fixed that, was able to get to boot options to run from Repair CD.

Of course i've tried running startup repair which I constantly get a new error about no os, or corrupt registry etc.

Had to fix my MBR. Used countless options on command prompt.
Bootsect/ Bootrec, fixmbr, rebuildmbr,etc. Nothing worked.
Could not find any windows installations. Still got errors
Finally had to manually delete and reset the entire boot records with a manual input of GUID values. Insane. Windows installations were still not found though...!!

Windows installation wouldn't show up on repair computer. Don't even know how I fixed that.

Thousands of corrupt files. with RECENV corrupt.
Could not run chkdsk. UGH!!! Finally, got that to work and ran chkdsk for hours fixing problems.

Cannot do repair install on windows. Disk says I need to boot the CD from Windows...but I can't get into windows!

Apparantly I've lost most of my files...How I have no idea. This is unbelievably frustrating since for some reason I don't have any restore points and one recovery point from over a year ago, that is corrupt anyways!

Finally everytime I booted up...winload.exe would always be corrupt or missing. Tried a half million ways to replace it. Finally got it replaced, but each time I start the computer a new file needs to be replaced, kdcom.dll, di.dll etc.

So I tried running sfc/ scannow to fix system files.. Says windows needs to do a repair on reboot. So I reboot, nothing changes.
Tried running sSFC /scannow /offwindir=c:\windows /offbootdir=c:\ in which I get yet another error that says windows could not start the repair service.

Sol check my regback entries...which are completely gone...yea!

Downloaded Microsoft defender tool on another PC, tried running it on bootup, of course to no avail since getting a cannot run CD boot error.

So error after error, this is insane. Why don't i simply reformat....cause each step of this, I though I would finally be the fix, but there is always another error

So do i have to manually replace all system files?? I tried copying the System32 folder from X:, but came up with more missing or corrupt files. Can someone figure out how to get sfc to run???


At any rate I HATE ACER ARCADE!!!!

Nothing was personally directed at you. This is how the tutorial Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 introduces itself. None of the tens of thousands of other users who have benefited from it have ever absurdly claimed it was insulting them.

How ironic you would come to the top recognized site on the web for Clean Reinstall and then poke a finger in the eye of someone ready to spend his Sunday helping you get a perfect Clean Reinstall.

I did not ask for a clean reinstall. That's kind of the point.
So it was kind of insulting to me, when I asked for specific help and was told I just screwed up in an install years ago.

And I did not know that was the way the article introduced itself, If it was a copy paste kind of thing....which is far from spending a sunday to help.

I did not know you had reinstalled years ago because you did not say that, so how could I insult how you did that? Any ire was aimed at the bloatware which is a constant source of problems with Win7.

Wow. Id idn't say I reinstalled. This has nothing to do with anything anyway. Are you actually reading my posts? Your posts have nothing to do with what I am asking.

I know everything there needs to be known about clean installs. That is not what I am asking. Please stop telling me about clean installs and crapware.
