Boot to Normal Mode.
Open Device Manager
Click on View in the menu bar
select 'Show hidden drivers'
are there any more drivers showing error messages??
Nothing else is shown.
Is this 32-bit or 64-bit Win7?- I note that there are no drivers for 64-bit Win7 on the Gateway site, which probably means that the hardware isn't supported.
64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium
One thing that can really be a bottleneck is the chipset drivers - especially the IDE/SATA/RAID drivers - you should doublecheck that those are the correct ones.
It says the driver provider is 'Microsoft' for WDC WD3200BPVT-16JJ5t0 ATA Device (new hard drive)
You say you've managed to Activate the system, and I note that you appear to have done so before installing valid networking - how did you manage that?
No, I installed the Ralink wireless network card driver from a flash drive before I activated it.
It would be worth checking the disk and file system again
Results: All 5 stages completed and found no problems.
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
