Hello, does anybody when clicking the bookmark arrow or a folder with bookmarks in chrome gets a small (i mean very fast!) black flickering???

Also in Windows 7 Jumplist sometimes when opening it will show aero glass before populating with icons (also very fast)

Can someone check this out to see if it behaves the same as my pc??

It's not annoying but just wanted to know if it happens to someone else :)

Well, changing to basic theme gets rid of the issue... wonder why the issue appears with aero enabled :S

I have an ATI HD 5770

Perhaps, there is a hardware problem with your graphics card then do you get any lag in games?

Ok. Try rolling back to an older driver, turning off aero, or keeping aero on but turning off transparency

Still getting the same behaviour... Well i suspect that it can be some of the random tweaks i've applied to speed up Windows...

Anyway i have a fresh install on a Virtualmachine and it does not happen, but of course video drivers are vmware one's so i cant really compare...

I'll try to apply same tweaks under VM to see if i can reproduce the behaviour

UPDATE1: Well after fiddling around with some settings i've applied, i somehow managed to reduce the problem, till the point it doesnt show after clicking many times the folders in bookmark :)...

Well i think i can mark this a solved cuz it was probably those tweaks :), and really appreciate your help... @topazkitty: You were the only one willing to help me on this forum

I have an Acer One that is flickering with white, gray and black horizontal lines and jumping all over the place; similar to what you were asking about. Weird is that if I have a box up it's fine (it's a picture only?). It flickers when screen saver comes up and flickers when only desktop is visible. Did you get a resolution?
