Hello everybody

Since a couple of days I get a BSOD when I play Minecraft. The BSOD appears after a few minutes of playtime. It even appears when I am in the menus.

Things i have tried:
- Updating my video card drivers
- updating my Java

I am not really that handy with computers.
If anyone can help me I would really appreciate that!

I have added the SF diagnostic files in the "Attached File"

What kind of freezing was experienced? Can you explain all the symptoms? Was it a progressively unresponsive system until it froze entirely, or was it an instant lock?

Other drivers you may wanna look into are your audio drivers, and any other component drivers that come with your motherboard. Also, if you have any, uninstall all software that came with the motherboard. This includes OCing utilities, monitoring software, "enhancement" software like for USB and drives, etc. Anything that isn't crucial to having your hardware function properly should be removed.

As for testing this, have you tested stability with any other games? You may also wanna try benchmarks like Heaven and Furmark. Lastly, for diagnostic testing, run Prime95 on Torture Test with Blend settings and leave it on overnight. Follow up with another overnight test with Large FFT settings instead, regardless whether the first test passes or fails. Report to us any crashes or failed tests from either of them, and specify what happened with each test.

As for the crashdumps you provided us, they are worthless for 0x101 bugchecks. You must provide us a kernel dump, which is the MEMORY.DMP file located in Windows directory. Zip it up and upload to some filesharing site like Mirrorcreator.com. 0x101 bugchecks are tough to crack, so it's a gamble how far into one I can debug.

Thanks for the answer.
Yesterday i figured out how to update my Chipset dirvers and I did that I played the game for 30 minutes and so far no freezes op BSOD.

The Freezing was instantly. PLaying normal and BAM Freeze.

I will post here if the chipset driver update worked or not. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I got a Blue screen right now so it is not fixed with the chipset drivers.

And the file MEMORY.dmp is unreadable. I can't sip it in or read it.
Furmark crashes when i am editing the settings.

I am now testing Heaven

The benchmarks were meant to run infinite if at all possible just to see if there's any instability that pops up such as crashing or artifacting. Make sure to actually observe the benchmarks every so often for artifacts.

The MEMORY.DMP corruption thing has me curious. You said you can't even zip it? I wonder if you have some file system related issues. You'll wanna run CHKDSK /R followed by SFC /SCANNOW. Afterwards, you'll wanna check your drive(s) with Seatools. Run all tests, except Long (unless you want too). If you have an SSD Seatools might not work so hot with it. Instead, check that your SSD firmware is updated.

Thanks for the answer! I will do these things when i have some free time! I will report back here.

I already did the Check Disk yesterday. And I don't think it found any problems.

I am unable to do the SFC /SCANNOW because i don't have the Windows 7 CD because my windows was pre installed.

Ok, you can forgo the SFC scan at the moment, it was just a precautionary measure. Another CHKDSK /R scan should be ran, as well as those Seatools tests.

Ultimately, however, we might not be able to diagnose this problem without that kernel dump (MEMORY.DMP) file. Every time you get a BSOD it should overwrite it with a new kernel dump for the most recent crash, so perhaps a new dump file might be able to be uploaded.

Do you have enough HD space to create the rar file with it inside? Also, are you doing all of this on an administrator account? Try moving/copying the MEMORY.DMP file to another location, preferably a folder you know you have access too, then archive it there.

I copied the file to my desktop and try to create a zip file of it but that didn't work. And i guess this is a Administrator account. It is the only account on this PC.

And do i have to download SeaTools for DOS? or SeaTools for Windows?
