Hey all. I just got finished with a new pc build and after installing my video card i've been receiving BSODs at random. I suspect driver issues, but I really wouldn't know for sure. I'm including all the information below. I'd reaaaaally appreciate some help, been tearing my hair out over this.

Seems like a boot.ini file....
Turn on the PC, press F8 repeatedly, and select Repair Your Computer. Click startup repair, and when it is done, reboot, and see if the problem is solved.

Thank you for your reply 714, however no errors were found upon running Startup Repair. I am still receiving BSODS however they are a couple hours apart.

Currently using Avast Free, switched from MSE in a desperate thought that it might be contributing to the BSODs.

Did you check if all the parts are compatible? Are the ram clocks/speeds the same? And are you sure the computer is crashing only with the video card installed?

The parts are all compatible, yes. Ram clocks are stock, and I only noticed BSODS after installing the video card, but it could very well be this way without it installed.

Do you have another card to test with? (Should be compatible with the motherboard of course)

Or like, borrow from a friend for a while?

No I don't. I would hope I don't have to get a new card, this is the second one i've had after sending in the same model that was DOA.

Why would you have to buy a new one? Isn't this GPU new? Is it under its warranty?

Yeah but that's the only option left if the card is a faulty one. Now can you tell me if you have a friend around who can give you their graphics card to test for a while? I took a quick look at your .dmp files and most of them come with bugchecks that have memory in their usual causes. But it could be graphics memory as well, I'm not very sure.

Did you take memtest?
