Solved HELP PLEASE: Updates failed

Thanks for all the info. I did a few of the things in the tutorial and eventually the updates finally installed. I had to do them each individually, but it did work. The bad news is that I'm not sure what was corrected to get the updates to install. Hopefully the problem is fixed and future updates will go back to installing automatically. Thanks again.

@krypto1: Glad to hear the tutorial section help solve the issue you were having. If you have other Windows Update issues, or any other Windows issues, check the tutorial section first - it will save you a lot of time. The tutorials are well researched and well written.

I find it helpful if I search the tutorial section for an error code or error msg, then sort the results using the "Windows 7 Tutorial" pick from the "category Tools" link near the top. the default sort is by "last post".

Hi everybody. I was away for some times. My problem remained opened ;(
I solved 2 issues so far, but sill 14 more to go. It looks hopeless to me. I am so confused, I tried everything.

No problem. I have 14 issues to solve for my windows update to be complete. Each time I try to reinstal or whatever I failed.

I have errors now ... please see attachments.
1st capture showed all failed updates and one specific error
Capture2 shows the following step I took
Capture2b and 2c show Win 7 for x64 - based system and Win 7 for x64 - based system SP1
But each path has the same result to download... last capture

See, I don't know what to do... I tried to download but no use. Still failed.

Go to Control Panel and choose Systems & Security then choose Windows Update.

Then you can see how many updates weren't really updated. Go to View Update History.

When another window opens and you get all the History about your update of failed or succeeded updates.

Click the Code of that update that wasn't updated. With right click choose View Details.

Another windows opens when you can detect your Update Definition by Code (for example KB15597).

Below you can see the link More Information. Please fallow that link.

Another window opens in Internet Explorer and please just fallow your needed update. Please be careful that you use the right update regarding your computer system (for example if you have Windows7 x64, you need to search for x64 System Update. If you have Windows7 x32, search for x32 System Update, etc.)

If any of these tips don't help, please make a new Threat on this Forum and I am sure that these great GURU guys will help you out.

I did as I posted, Code by Code. And after each Code of 100% successful update I did a restart. It worked.
