I had it at around 4.8 while playing last week, I've just reset WEI and done it again from stock and am only getting 7.8

Mosfets

THIS IS A WEI KIDS, ALL DONE WITH A 100 DOLLAR 960T from AMD, and IT NOW CRUSHES i-7 3770's ALL DAY!!!

Far be it for me to pee on your chips but you have not read about AMD boards and their MOSFETS exploding when you over clock excessively and exceed the maximum TDP. For example unlocking a four core to a six core and then overclocking that by 800MHZ. You have turned a 95Watt part into a 140 watt plus part. Get some heatsinks on those MOSFETS or kiss not only your scores good bye but also your CPU, PSU, RAM and possibly Hard drives and DVD burners.

Here is windows 8 running on windows 7 (the previous computer) with a higher score? Seems the system is flawed as that happens with my Windows 7 VM's too.

Windows 8 scores differently in WEI, it goes up to 9.9 for a starter compared to 7.9 for Windows 7.

This should explain the differences if you didn't know that.

This is the first machine running Windows 7 and a virtual windows 7 in VMWARE and the scores are higher in the VM? The disk data rate is higher as it is using a different hard drive so it looks better but really is not.

Keep a sharp eye for sales Tony, there have been some really good sales of late. $70 for a 64GB M4.
