If I keep HT on, my i7 3770K scores 7.8 and my 16GB DDR3 RAM score 7.8...

If I keep HT off, i7 scores 7.7 and RAM 7.9

I runned 3 times the test... Always same results..
Does HT have an impact in RAM performance?

Old time MB and CPU

This is my "chat PC" I use it with and Agfa Scanner with SSCI card on 32 bit Windows 7. Purchased 11/18/2004
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ / 512 MBCache / 1600MHz FSB / Socket 754 / Processor
Corsair Value Select VS1GB400C3 1GB Memory - PC3200, DDR, 400MHz, 184 Pin
Asus K8N-E Deluxe nVidia Socket 754 ATX Motherboard / AGP 8X/4X / Audio / Gigabit LAN / USB 2.0 / Firewire / Serial ATA / RAIDMPN: K8N-E Deluxe

Added 2 more GB over the years and a GT 7600 AGP and assorted burners and hard drives.

Had 3 systems with these motherboards in, gave the others away. Kept this one as the scanner does not like 64 bit windows.
I think it proves Windows 7 is very useful on older hardware. This is all stock settings never been overclocked. If you are still on XP don't be afraid.

It does yes.

Try running winsat mem from CMD and see how fast the ram is with it on and off.

4GB of Hynix upgraded to 2x4GB Crucial.
Well it isn't the improvment the SSD will provide but is a huge jump in WEI and very noticeable in using W7.
Much better graphics.

Solar, Those scores are terrible. I think you should rebuild. I couldn't use a computer with scores that low. :roflmao:
