A bit chilly this morning!

I think we were there in June. It was in 1965 coming from North Bay in Canada - with a travel trailer. As a European, I was most impressed by the distances you had to go to get places. In a similar distance I could have crossed all of Europe north to south.

June and July are the worst months for bugs up here in the northern part of the state, so I am not surprised that the black flies chased you out. :D I have driven from Minnesota down to the south tip of Texas and also out to the west coast, so I can relate to traveling long distances. :p I'd have to look it up, but I think maybe Minnesota is about the same size in area as Germany.
