Good evening,

I received a BSOD this morning at around 9:00 AM. I was not at my desktop when it occurred. The last known BSOD that I had occurred a few months back and it was likely related to not updating a wireless network card. Any help would be appreciated.

Attached to this message is the dump file that was generated this morning. Any assistance with this matter is greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi ComputerTech07,

Welcome to the 7forums :)

It looks like the Qualcomm bluetooth audio device has caused the crash.
I suggest that you update the drivers of this device using the official support page of Qualcomm or Dell if this device was built-in.

Hello axe0, and thank you for taking the time to look at my minidump file.

After visiting the Dell support page, it appears that the only available audio driver for my system is the "Realtek ALC3861 Audio Driver." It was released on November 20th, 2013 and was last updated on June 23rd, 2014.

However, after also checking on Qualcomm's support website, I also discovered that there is a driver available to download there as well, although the "chipset" dialog box is blank. I should also mention, though, that my wireless network card is indeed a Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4 GHz).

Moreover, aside from having a Bluetooth audio device pre-installed on my system, I also have two NVIDIA audio devices and a Realtek High Definition audio device as well. My system is also 64-bit as well.

Here is what I have found so far.

Please let me know if you have any problems accessing the following links:

The driver in question can be found under the "Audio" tab.

Product Support | Dell US

The driver in question should be listed under "Dell 1703"

With that being said, which driver would you best recommend for download to resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the information, axe0. This issue has since been corrected. For that reasoning, I will mark it as solved. Thanks again!
