BSOD "Caused by Driver" blank in the minidumps

Hi guys

Currently I'm having some issues with a laptop that I've recevied from our supplier. It's currently blue screening at random times, but when I check the minidumps the "Cause by driver" is blank. Has anyone come accross this? Am I missing some that needs to be enabled?

I found your dumps very interesting, and those are showing multiple fold issues. Graphics, network, usb, and one program or something that is unknown to me .... sysinternationals.

I need some information. Provide those?

• Details of your GPU. Is it a switchable one?
• Details of your network adapter. Is it a USB one?
• All about the security programs you have installed.

The msinfo32 you supplied is incomplete. I need a fresh copy. upload your MSINFO32.nfo file.

1. Click on the start button
2. Type "msinfo32" (without quotes) in the search bar of the start menu, click the resulting link. It will open the System Information window.
3. File>Save. In the "File Name" filed, put "MSINFO32" (without Quote), give the save location to desktop, and click the "save" button.
4. Give the time for processing, it will save a .nfo file on your desktop.
5. Zip it, and upload it following the instruction.

After getting these information, I will suggest steps. Dont worry, nothing is beyond control.

Scan the system for possible virus infection, for a safety reason.

• Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller
• Windows Defender Offline

Arc I presume you are referring to the NotMyFault.exe or myfault.sys in the crash dumps, I had a look at the dumps as well and was curious about the program It turns out it is actualy a utility for causing bluescreens for the specific purpose of a crash dump NotMyFault.exe - Microsoft KB

You should have asked the OP why he is generating the crash dumps.

He must have some intention then behind it. What is this?

I used it to see if I could compare the mini dumps between two machines. As this was a more controller way of making it bluescreen.
