Hey guys,

I was just wondering if there's a way I can wake my computer with a mouse click. Its just that in windows 8 cp I can wake the system with a click from the mouse but not in windows 7.

I'm using a generic mouse attached to the front panel usb.

Thanks for future responses. Have a good day!

Simply moving the mouse or hitting the keyboard will wake it up. No need to click.

No, that's not the case for me.

My current settings:

Turn off monitor: 2 mins.
- keyboard and mouse action (no click) will power up the monitor.

Put to sleep: 5 mins.
- keyboard only to wake the system.

but this morning when i woke up and tried to wake the system with a mouse click, it worked..

now the problem has changed.

if it works like that, then why is it that most of the time it doesn't?
does it have something to do with my mouse being a usb? i guess not because it works fine with win8

anyway i'll observe the system's sleep/wake method running the usual apps that i use.

Happy New Year!

Are you sure the system was sleeping?
Maybe the system was not sleeping, and just the monitor was turned off when you woke up?
