I want to buy another GTS 450 1GB GDDR5

RAM 1GB GDDR5 128 Bit 1333Mhz
Core: 783Mhz, DVI, VGA, HDMI, PCI-E.

Will I be able to SLI those cards ? My power supply is 250W

Looking at this you need 400w supply to power just one so you are already underpowered

You need to purchase a new PSU at best if you want to SLI those cards also doesn't matter how much Ram either of them have it will use the one with less ram anyway

Since you would already have to replace a PSU why not get that + a better card thus you can have one that will last longer then the GTS450 just my opinion but then again i have a chart to see how powerfull it is vs others

As mentioned, can't be done. PSU is not strong enough.

And you may as well stick with another 2GB card. if you go to 1GB - that's what you get for both cards.

to clarify what smarteyeball said, cards placed in SLI work on the same raw data stored in their respective dedicated ram.
Since the second card can have only 1 GB, it will bottleneck the system in case you are using programs/games that need more than 1 GB.

My best advice is to buy a better 80+ certified PSU and a better card to replace your current one.

I had a PC using a Radeon HD4850 video card. It developed a problem and I installed a GTS450OC 1GB. The Windows experience index dropped for the two video parameters with the GTS450OC.

As others noted, its an "old" card and you would be better off with a current production video card.

Well I was thinking about GTX 650 or the SLI option, that's why I asked. The sli performance of 2 GTS 450 is better than single GTX 650. About the PSU, I will change it to 500W one, no worries on that side

If you look at the above chart posted you can sli 2 GTS 450's and it would barley beat a HD5770 the results are like 3 to 4 post back if you are going with a GTX go with the 560TI it will beat a 650ti and comparable to yes the 560ti is about the same or better then 650ti

You should go with the 660TI go for broke

The Ti versions of both cards are very expensive. The price of the GTX 560 Ti is almost double of the price of GTX 650. GTX 650 is 170$ and the GTX 560 Ti is 310$. OK Thank you for the answers. I will stay with the 450 until I get some money. The only thing to change now is the PSU.

I think the pricing you have for the 560Ti is a tad off.......that is closer to the 660Ti price. What kind of gaming experience are you looking for? Are you wanting something that will play some new games on high settings @ 1080p? Or do you just play games occasionally at less than 1080p? A better explanation of what your end goal is will help us give more concise advice.

Before you do any GPU upgrades, get a good power supply. You are risking your entire system(motherboard/cpu/etc) running on that 250W PSU. I'd much rather give you some examples of good power supplies than see you post in a new thread that you need new components because your PSU bricked your current system.
