I got a laptop from someone with the following problem:
First it got a messed up screen and the laptop was not bootable at all. After I did some tests and scans (see below) I got the laptop to bootup but every time the computer starts up it gets a BSOD within a few seconds/minutes. The messages I saw where with error code 0x00000050 and 0x0000003B. I am not sure if I got more errors.

What I already tried to fix problems with the laptop in this order:
- First I did a memtest86+ which passed with 0 errors
- A scan with the AVG rescue CD which resulted in some results (unfortunately i dont remember which ones), after AVG fixed these errors I got the laptop to be bootable again...
- I did a malwarebytes scan with no results, so i thought the laptop was ok again , but after a few minutes it gave a BSOD again and afterwards it gave it every few minutes.

Note - strange that the scan finished which took about 1 hour, but every other time the BSOD appears within a few minutes.

I hope the zip file is ok, but because of the quick crashes it was hard to get a file at all.

So thats about it. I hope my story is readable, my native language isn't english so have a hard time writing properly. If something is not clear just ask!

I did follow the instructions and posted the zip file, so what exactly do you mean? Do I have to make another kind of dump?

Ill try to do the other steps, but the laptop is crashing very soon after starting up, so I hope ill get the results and have time enough to copy them... ill update you on this!

It is impossible to run the diag program. Everytime I try to run it the BSOD appears... so no clue what to do now.

The ZIP file does not contain all the necessary information to troubleshoot your problem - run the tool linked in the tutorial to gather the information.

The MGADIAG tool does not cause BSOD's - reboot your system, then immediately run the tool. Alternatively, run it after booting into Safe Mode.

I can imagine that MGADIAG is not causing the BSOD, but still... before I can get it to run the BSOD appears.
I will try to get the other dump files needed, but im not sure if i have enough time to change the settings for creating dump files.

-edit- nevermind, I cann't even change the settings. All tekst for the options look like squares and even more important, I get a BSOD before I can even finish changing the settings.
So I am going to do a clean install and look if that will fix something....

OK. I think under the circumstances, that is probably the best thing to do.
