That`s terrible when you think you`re getting a quality product from a company, then you find out it`s made by someone else. It`s like picking up a generic brand of pasta.

I had read the AX series were made by SeaSonic in the beginning, and after their success, Corsair had them make some of their other lines as well.

The AX850 is Seasonic made, but the AX860i is someone else. I don't know for sure but I suspect Corsair specifies how other manufacturers build them and not just a re-label.

Yeah, it looks like the AX 650/750/850 is made by SeaSonic, but the newer AX, and the 1200 watt AX are made by other manufacturers.

I was looking at the Seasonic, but if you flipped it over to have the fan facing down, all the writing would be upside down. Most of it anyway.

I already got my RMA approved I'm printing the label up and will get ready to ship this PSU out to Corsair i'm also going to get in touch with Antec as well about there Water block and how it is striped

I am so glad I have this forum to go to when in need

Corsair depends on the location your in will have the product here with in a week 2-3 days if your in California

So hopefully i can do them both and get two new fresh starts for my back up rig The dreaded MSI990FX GD-80 with a FX8120 and a HD6870 mild OC

once it get's there supposedly it is expressed mailed back with in 1-2 days so i'll send it off tomorrow maybe by wed next week or so i'm hoping but not holding my breath

Well that`s good to hear, I think I remember reading that also.

And they paid for insurance too, that was a suprize.

They do pay for that but they insist on who ever you use has a tracking number I'm sure the US postal service will be more then enough im not trying to look for a ups or fedex the express mail is fine there the same anyway it might be cheaper too

I had to pay to ship to them and the turn around was just about a week I think. I'm in IN.

You have to wait a few more days to get the other label, but I just bought mine so maybe that`s why I got the pre-paid label. They still had to review it before they emailed the label. But I wasn`t paying for something I just bought.
