is it possible to get hold of win7 original ISO?

Hi :D

I went over to Linux before win7EOL as i refuse win10 rolling edition crap.
I did forget to get hold of a clean Swedish win7-ISO, to reinstall when my computers got to old and i want to restore them for Retro hobby use.

So my question to you all is. Is it possible to get hold of a clean Swedish ISO?

All editions can be made available by deleting the ei.cfg file from the sources folder , or by toggling it off with View attachment eicfg_removal_utility.zip

Here's a link I have for Pro 64, but it's U.S. English. Maybe that ei.cfg trick will work. But I bet it has to be ultimate.

Glad that it seems the freaking world thinks Windows 10 and 11 are "crap". LOL I do use 10 though, but it's Tiny10. It has all the crap stripped out and so far so good. I can even use Steam. Tiny10 (version 1809 and 2209) : NTDEV : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive There's a few IP hits here and there for telemetry, but nothing massive like I saw in a regular version of 10. I just block it all in the router and at OpenDNS.

No, they are not supposed to be links.

eicfg remover works on any officially released ms consumer iso file whatever the edition, because they contain all images.

that weird .iso you linked to does not contain all images. Nobody knows what those odd iso files are for. They contain some updates and have been sysprepped twice.

I run the one I linked to in VMware now. And yes, as you said it appears to have all updates. Well, at least it's from Microsoft and not the piratebay. LOL

but i do want the swedish one so it becomes retro authentic.
I did contact the manufacturer to get the OEM copy, But they only offered me a win10 instead as win7 is labeled EOL.
and ISO's online is scary as many of them is hacked so they have malware or is created to become one of a botnet.
Sadly microsoft don't post its hashes so it becomes easier to verify the ISO.

You are not going to find any official ISO downloads anymore. The best you are going to find are ones that somebody archived. These are ones archived at the Wayback Machine (Archive.org)

I did had that feeling that's why I asked if it was "possible" to get hold of one. or if someone of you know where to find clean ones that isn't hacked. :D
Best people to ask is you on seven forums as you keep track of good VS bad ones. ;)
