As the topic says, I am getting a BSOD while playing games randomly, but most of the times, I'll receive a BSOD after the computer goes to sleep.

Sorry if I sound like a noobie, because I am :(

I think i've uploaded the dump files correctly, but please provide me with anything I could do to receive more help. Thanks!

Please upload your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

Please upload your msinfo32.txt file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Export -> Save as msinfo32.txt and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .txt file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.

Use the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) to determine which file is causing the issue, and then replace the file.

To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
  2. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: sfc /scannow
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Install all updates and Service Pack 1:
Number down items at start-up. Keep only your anti-virus, this also improves the time for logging into windows.
  • Click on the Start button
  • Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  • Select the “Startup” tab.
  • Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  • Apply > OK
  • Accept then restart.

Should I remove the AMD Overdrive and WD drivers?
And follow the rest of the steps? As of now, I've only uploaded the msinfo's into 1 zip file. Do you require anything else? Thanks!

How do i remove the AMD overdrive driver?

Try uninstalling from Control Panel.
Uninstall or change a program

Or use revo uninstaller free:

Download and install Revo Uninstaller free from here: Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Opt for "Advanced Mode" and uninstall the software (also delete the leftover registry entries).

No, I have never installed one. Or at least I believe I haven't

That's really bad.

Scan your system with the following:

Kaspersky TDSSKiller
How to remove malware belonging to the family Rootkit.Win32.TDSS (aka Tidserv, TDSServ, Alureon)

ESET online scanner
One-time virus scanner free with ESET online scanner

We recommended Microsoft Security Essentials from a strict BSOD perspective.

Microsoft Security Essentials, Free antivirus for windows
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free
Good and Free system security combination

   Warning
Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

2013-03-09_224312_zps62dc7c23.jpg

Run a full scan with both (separately) once downloaded, installed and updated.

Should I just uninstall AMD Catalyst in order to remove AMD Overdrive?

Also, I have already ran Kaspersky and it came up clean. I am currently running ESET and will get back to you ASAP

Nothing really until you get another BSOD.

Did you update to service pack 1?

Haven't updated to service pack 1, I will do that.

Also, when trying to uninstall AMD Catalyst manager, I received a BSOD during uninstall phase. What could have caused it?
