Hello and welcome 41023 mate some systems specs would be really helpful and your description is a tad short on detail as to what you are seeing in the window.

Plus where are you right clicking as I said we really do need to know a little more on your problem.

Like did you download a Mediainfo app from somewhere like sourceforge??

That context menu option is in the registry and effectively installed by the default options in K-Lite Codec Pack.

Open the registry editor and search for "MediaInfo" in keys only and full texts only. You will found a lot of them inside HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\[some multimedia extension]\shell. Just delete them for each file type you use and it will be gone.

Absolutely and I do also check through both HKEY_CURRENT_USER and _LOCAL _MACHINE > Software as I found any time is in the past Symantec particularly hard to get rid of.

But be VERY careful ans sure you have the right entries the main one will take out the whole thing best open it out first just to check.

If K-Lite is not there then go look for the software site / writers.

Just to add something, to fully prevent that item from even appearing.
You can opt-out from MediaInfo in the feature selection during installation of K-Lite Codec Pack:

You must select "advanced mode" to get the chance to unckeck it. That way, it does NOT even create those pesky context menu items. It's only available in the x86 version, the x64 doesn't even includes MediaInfo.
