Icons, keyboard shortcut, folder setting... Annoying bugs! How to fix?

Hello,

I got some annoying bugs on my Windows 7. The most annoying actually in the "apps and features" section won't remember its display settings (by date for example) and always reset itself as soon as i leave it. Second thing, which is totally new : shortcut win+L (lock session) doesn't work anymore, even after reboot, wipe caches, etc.. Not even a single idea how to fix it?

Last annoying thing is the icons gettings messed up some times after system's started and apps launched. I of course wiped all caches but it's still doing it. Of course i do a fresh install and all that is gone but i'd like to learn a bit... In fact i did a fresh install but a problem makes me avoid it :

On the old install, when i wake from sleep, wlan connects IMMEDIATLY. On the new install, it waits at least 10seconds before starting to search for the network... Hope you can help (for the display bugs mostly)!

Thanks for the fast answer but answer's not here sadly. About the win+l shortcut : As said it doesn't work BUT others (win+d, win+x, etc..) WORKS.

Found out that when i have the win+l issue, ctrl+alt+del is also not working. Even before you start thinking about it : No i have no malware/virus.. I also found out that pressing ctrl+shift+esc (task manager) then fix the issue... Until it comes back. So why is that thing coming? I've yet to find that... Could it be related to Google chrome?

@thread starter Did you try running "sfc /scannow"? Press Windows+R and enter that command without quotes. After it's done, reboot.

If it still does not work, you may run this ** REMOVED ** fix tool which I found while googling. That may solve your problem as well.

i've ran "sfc /scannow" and it says al is ok. Ok i'll try the zip but first you gotta tell me what it does (and if it auto reboot once done)!

I am very sorry unko. I myself was stunned to see what I posted there. Please don't use that, it's not meant for you. Actually I wanted to post it in some other thread but did it here by mistake, my bad.

Ok thanks, anyways as said, i have a work around for that : press ctrl+esc. Now what about the other issue, for example first one "apps & feature" not remembering display settings?

It's like many things (settings) reset themselves often. Like i disabled auto execute and it'll be re-enabled (default setting) same for some power saving settings... Really hope to get help, can't reinstall!
