how can i restore drivers from windows.old folder?

after trying to upgrade to windows 7 ultimate sp1, it was unsuccessful so i did a custom installation and now my some of my drivers are missing. I saw a thread in this forum say i should brows to drivers folder in windows.old (that i did) but still didn't solve the problem. What should i do next pls? Thankx!

What is the model of your PC and drivers you're missing

You need to run windows update or go to the manufacturer`s website for any missing drivers. The driver exe files will not be in the windows.old folder unless you had them stored there.

As Vista has asked, post the exact model of your pc so we can find the drivers for you.

Posting a shot of device manager for us would be a big help.

am sorry guys for the delay in reply. . . the model of my pc is hp 630. . . and i av been able to update my drivers online. but am unable to shera wireless connection using connectify. so i went to check my wlan adapter to see if there is an update for it to my surprise, i met a mark on my wlan driver which i dont knw what its signify. si pls guys tell me what the little arrow on my wlan driver ndicate. can it b d reason why i cant shera my network connection? the screen shot is below.

Glad you solved it. Did you disable it yourself? I'm not aware of any procedure that automatically disables it
