Building a High-end to Mid-end PC

ASRock is really making waves and rocking ASUS's and MSI's world. I'm still a MSI fan but it would seem that many have had voltage limit issues when trying for the max OC's. The ASUS and ASRock will perform better in that 9/10ths-10/10ths OC situation. The board I recommended and above is crazy !
In the end the last call is your's and I would look for expand-ability and features then value. Have you set a budget for the mobo?

My total budget has changed, its not under $1000, but in the $850 and lower range. The CPU is around $200, the case is a HAF 938 - Newegg.ca - COOLER MASTER HAF 932 Advanced RC-932-KKN5-GP Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case with USB 3.0, Black Interior and Four Fans-1x 230mm front RED LED fan, 1x 140mm rear fan, 1x 230mm top fan, and 1x 230mm side fan which is $160.

In that case I would look for a cheaper CPU and a better GPU. Games, for the most part, are much more dependent on the GPU than the CPU. The parts you have chosen are good parts and the case is great, but the better GPU you have, the better gaming will be.

I will be reusing my Asus GTX 650 Ti from my old computer.

That's a good choice, I think.(your system specs say a 5670) What else will you be reusing? Anything you can use from the old computer will help with the new one. Your PSU is a good one and you should be able to use the hard drives. The case you chose is excellent. You may be able to get away with CPU, Motherboard and Ram.

The dvd drive in my old computer is still good, the PSU is only 500Watts but it might not be enough for all the new stuff.

It should be fine. The 650TI recommendation is 400W, so there's little doubt the Corsair has the amps. you could save some there, and use your old hard drives. Use that savings to get a good CPU cooler. Also, you said the case was going to be a 932 advanced. You listed a 922, they are different cases, Did you change your mind? The 922 is a good case too, but just not quite as nice as the 932.

I tried to see if I could get the price to lower, by finding a cheaper case.

You could always live with the provided cooler with the chip and then decide later. Call it phase two and as long as you have a big opening to access the retention plate for swapping then your golden.

SSD:
Samsung Pro or Crucial M4 would be my choices and of course some other notables. If you have tons of games and software and can place the often run games on the SSD then 128 should do fine but if you want all your games and tons of software on the SSD and room to grow them get the 256 but I think you'll find the 128 most capable and affordable.
