Today my computer got infected, when I was searching for some clues over internet to post in this thread : http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-hel...-connect-usb-storage-device-windows-7-pc.html
I was in search of the source of Sahara.sys and Salvador.sys .... computer stopped responding, MSC alerted for infection within 30 seconds. Scanning now ... infection caught.
Second time in my life. Earlier I was caught by a spyware, years ago.

Are your Java, Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader installations up to date?
Java = 7u21
Flash = 11.7.700.203
Reader = 11.0.03
If they are, I bet you've got a DPF or something leftover from an older version of Java - it doesn't update very nicely at all and leaves things all over your system which can still be exploited.
