Hi Everyone.

Well, here's the thing. I wanted to restore my msi all-in-one PC to the factory settings and start a fresh installation, because I cannot detect what causes my c drive space full.
I tried to search for the files to erase them, but I wasn't lucky. So based on that, I wanted to start again. It's okay, I don't mind to reinstall all programs and drivers. :geek:

BUT here comes the problem. Before I started, I wanted to clean some unusefull files and compress other files to see how much free space will I get. Well the system said that needs 15 hours to compress all. LOL :sleepy:

So I stopped the process. I did a restart. But instead of a restart the computer shuts down. When I switched it on again it said that is reccomended to detect and repair Windows Start up problems but after checking and fixing it shut down again. I wanted to choose other option (Start Windows Normally) but it didn't work, the system shut down. AGAIN.

So what is the problem now. I don't get it. Even when I tried to restore and set to the earlier settings the system instead of restart just shuts down... And always shows those options when starts up:

Starting Windows problem...fix problem (recommended) - something like that
and
Start Windows Normally

But if I don't make decision in a second or two, the system just shuts down.

PLEASE, PLEASE HELP ME!

BTW, I use win7 64bit on this desktop

All I want is just a stable behavor that I can restore my computer to the factory settings. OR Do you have in mind something more helpful.

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE. I know you guys are the best :)

I wouldn't mess with the corrupt factory preinstall anyway since its the worst possible install of Win7 you can have, larded with bloatware and useless duplicate utilities that have better versions built into Win7.

Instead do the best possible install by following the steps in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

HI.
It's been a while ... but here's the thing. After waiting for more then an hour to dowload X17-58997.iso for Factory OEM Win 7 as Clean Reinstall it's impossible to burn a DVD. System says that iso file is invalid. What can I do next?

Thanx

You'll need to download a good copy of the iso to burn to disk.

You can also try using ImgBurn
at 4x speed to burn it.

Has to be 4x or better less?

The attachment shows what the system told me before.

Since you have the file you loaded hidden in the screenshot I cannot see if you loaded the correct file for it.

The second screenshot's error seems to say the disk is bad. Try another. But it might be the DVD drive so if that fails try another one of those, or....

You can also try writing the ISO to flash stick using the WIndows tool or How To Use UltraISO Software To Create Bootable USB Flash Drive which never fails for me. This should narrow the problem.

If problems persists test the HD using the maker's Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure extended CD scan.
