I try to keep my web browser UI as simplistic as possible. Have the navigation buttons hidden. Then there maybe the back/forward buttons - but one might have to move the mouse to reach them :-(
Nah, mate. I like to use my other hand to pat my head or karate chop some air. It's too wild to stay on the keyboard. How is that more work than clicking and dragging? Isn't your left hand already on your keyboard and therefore always ready to instantly tap F or B at a moment's notice?
Seriously? Your left hand isn't sitting on Home Row while you're using the mouse? What do you do when you want to start typing? If your left hand were already sitting on the Home Row, then you'd only have to move your right hand.
Or, are you talking about when you're looking at certain sites where your right hand is on the mouse and your left hand is doing something else that I probably shouldn't mention on here? You can be honest because I'm just asking in order to understand; I'm not looking to judge.
I realise that you have to swap from the mouse to the keyboard but (in Firefox) you can use:
"Alt + Left" Arrow = Back
"Alt + Right" Arrow = Forward
.
That's actually universal. Check it out in other browsers, and it even applies to Windows Explorer (not to be confused with Internet Explorer).
