Hi all.
I know this has been asked before as I have read some of the threads on here. I have 2 media canter PC's used to record off air HD TV, watch Netflix and BBC. I have ordered a couple of BD Roms as I finally decided to bite the bullet. Regular DVD movies look great upscaled to 1080p so as an electronics engineer who has dealt with TV and monitors for years I know a good picture when I see it. The drives are Pioneer and do not come with software. Each machine has VLC and media player classic on it. What else do I need? Do I need to buy Power DVD or a similar product? I don't expect to be buying many blu rays but will change our rentals forom Netflix over to them. I did buy Avatar a 3 disc version of the movie with three different versions of the film on it. I just want to know the latest work arounds and ideas as I have no experience with Blu ray at all. Oh the parts should be here in the next day or two but I may not be able to install them due to recent surgery.
Thanks in advance. Tony.
