PS4 No Dedicated Remote control or blu-ray player

Hi all as of posting still no dedicated remote control for PS4, just bought a box set (big bang theory Blu-ray) unwatchable with PS4 and controller, Sony need to sort this out Grrrr, That said,

Also been having problems with sound issues with my new 4K TV, but that's another post here,

so my question is can I just buy any Blu-ray player, or does it have to be 4K compatible, obviously if it better to get the 4K one I would do that, just asking ?

I can play Blu-ray's but the ps4 hasn't got a remote control and using ps4 controller is difficult and even useless when trying to move through Blu-ray sub menus

I didn't find it that difficult. Iagree though I want a remote like the ps3 had. Luckily I still own my ps3 so I use that more for movies etc.

I still have the ps3 also but don't have the space or the sockets to plug it in lol its more of a scandal that there isn't a remote for such a popular console come on Sony

Agreed. The ps4 has only been out a year and a few months, I am sure they will release a remote or something soon. The ps3 did not get a remote until 3 years into its lifecycle. I doubt sony will wait that long again.

Nope. Weird since they both use bluetooth.
