need help on bcdedit to rebuild windows 7

i do the following command:

bootrec /fixmbr
del c:\boot\bcd
bcdedit /createstore c:\boot\bcd.temp
bcdedit /store c:\boot\bcd.temp /create {bootmgr} /d "window boot manager"
bcdedit /import c:\boot\bcd.temp
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} device partition=c:
bcdedit /timeout 10
del c:\boot\bcd.temp
bcdedit /create /d "windows 7" /application osloader
bcdedit /set {id} device partition=c:
bcdedit /set {id} osdevice partition=c:
bcdedit /set {id} path \windows\system32\winload.exe
bcdedit /set {id} systemroot \windows
bcdedit /displayorder {id}

After i done everything i get this error boot error stats \windows\system32\winload.exe is there anything wrong ?

Go here EasyBCD - NeoSmart Technologies and download EasyBCD. You will need to register and it is free for home use. it does all the hard work for you. I have never used the syntax method like you have BUT Windows 7 is NOT Vista. That may be the problem. Use Easy BCD.

What is the error message exactly. Have you tried to run start up repair from the Windows DVD at least three times? Have you added another hard drive to your system? What caused the error? The error sounds like the boot files cannot locate the windows installation.

Can you open a command prompt in System Recovery ?

:ar: To enter System Recovery Options from the Advanced Boot Options:
Restart the computer.
As soon as the BIOS is loaded begin tapping the F8 key until Advanced Boot Options appears.
Use the arrow keys to select the Repair Your Computer menu item.
Select US as the keyboard language settings, and then click Next.
Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
Select your user account an click Next.

Startup Repair

System Restore

Windows Complete PC Restore

Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool

Command Prompt

Select Command Prompt

You will get a command prompt that points to X:\Sources . Type these commands and press [enter] after each command

Reboot PC .
