i tried to looking for an anwer

but w7 ultimate 64 does feature a way or a shortcut to change the windows opacity

i tried windows key + wheel mouse

but nothing
is there a way or shortcuts or should i use a small utility

i download but there is only an exe

Hello, that page was confusing for the file, here's the zip with a script+exe, still have to follow instructions, program has no help within, I checked it, gives icon in notification area.

Win+G to show the current opacity.
Win+O for 100% (default), I have Windows Key disabled and have to reboot to try it.
Win key hold + mouse wheel to adjust it.

Tested it as is, made my icons on desktop fade, so it was working, have to use again as you open new windows, they are at 100%, I don't think I would ever use this feature, but interesting, leaves the task bar/tray at 100% unless selected, muhahaha!
