Microsoft readies IE 11 for Windows 7, too

That's good, since it is ported from Win 8 I thought it would be blue and square and blocky.

I believe Developer tools has changed the most according to one of the screen shots Brink showed,
Using the F12 developer tools (Internet Explorer)
Which I'm not crazy about that. but it's supposed to be more functional though but takes a heck of allot more room to do simple things like switching Browser or documents modes or to even verify quickly what is being used.

Yes developer tools is definitely a shock and possibly a deal breaker for me until I research it a bit more :shock:

Win7 H.P.; while reviewing IE11 it seems to work well with no obvious major flaws. Only one minor issue so far that I will no doubt overcome; the “Full Screen” function is not working like in IE10 and the bars do not automatically disappear or reappear when cursor is at edge of top screen and at times the pop down menu covers the bars. Hopefully these flaws will be resolved soon.

Also, cannot open Gmail window and Yahoo mail is not really working as it was. Comcast has not adjusted to IE11 yet as well.

Hum, just uninstalled IE11. IE10 works fine.

Funny, gadgets were still fully functional on my end.

What drove me nuts was that they removed the RAS Autodial GUI in IE11, (Connections tab in Internet options) which practically means removing it from the system, as far as I can see. Since this is the way the computer I have saddled with Win 8 connects to the Internet, it won't be getting the update to Windows 8.1. Neither is any of my IE 10 equipped W7s getting updated to IE11, as I have to connect them like this sometimes.

Dial up is the process that makes the connection.
But people sometimes just call it a RAS connection.

The one thing that I liked about dial up was - it was free for me.
There were no additional monthly costs

Yup, yet the difference here is that it is a PPPoE 'dialup' over WiFi and through the router (in bridge mode) and the ADSL wire, when the remote server configures you network connectivity - gives you the IP address, gateway address, DNS servers addresses.

It is a 'dialup', mates, but at broadband speed.

I'm glad that you took that on. I did not want to explain that dial up covered more than the old modems.
