I don't understand. The Turbo setting IS the OC.

Because using turbo it will throttle down when not under load. It's the best way to OC with intel.

Very nice OC HoneycombAG, how are your temps with that high of a voltage?

For some reason, I haven't got a reliable temperature reading. Speccy says it's red hot, at 89C, but SpeedFan over here says it's running at 49C.

It's running at maximum frequency.

Now, CPU-Z is doing something crazy, like reporting frequencies WAY ABOVE spec. Has anyone seen this happen?

Try real temp or core temp. That speccy reading is way to high, but speed fan showing much lower so I'm not sure what to think. Be careful.

First thing if he wasn't running a stock cooler it wouldn't look as bad

Now that should be normal running the cooler that came with it but it would be wise to invest in better cooling to keep that Oc in check im sure water cooler would drop it by atleast 15c or more

Also if you are interested in a higher GPU score you can always pair your APU with another graphics card like 7790 to boost performance or what ever gpu is recommended with that line

Yes I would. You can see if it would run at that clock at a lower voltage. Lower the voltage until it won't boot, then raise back up one step. Try lowering in 0.05V increments if your board can do it.

Now I'm not sure what's going on with Core Temp, as the machine was running idle and it read 0C, which is not a usual reading for a CPU cooled with a stock heatsink/fan. So I launched the ASRock Extreme Tuning Utilities and looked at my core temps there. Now how do I get my offsets to plug into Core Temp?

Try lowering in 0.05V increments if your board can do it.

Afraid I can't do it easily like most of you can. My motherboard BIOS only lets me select from a drop-down selection rather than use sliders.
