Solar, have you been keeping an eye on your own thread, you know the one you started the 3d Mark 11 one? I had to update my own score as you are nowhere to be seen! Are you subscribed to it?

I am but I just got in and checking other things I was at the DR

Any who I will try to keep a eye on it I noticed you edited out one of the 3dmark 11 scores before I did but I did come in after and finish putting others out there

I do tend to forget about this stuff with my daughter going to school been focused on that

You need to get your priorities straight Solar, Nothing and I mean Nothing is more important than a Leaderboard! It takes time, dedication and love to nurture the perfect Leaderboard, there is no place for half measures!

Of course I am joking, I am just messin with ya bud, Kids come first full stop

It Still amazes me that out of the 1000's of members on this forum of which a massive percentage run overclocks, only 21 of us are actually on the leaderboard.

Don't be shy, post your OC's Most stock CPU's will beat Bill now :roflmao: (sorry Bill lol)

Paul ,I think we have scared most of the people on here with the staggering overclocks on water and air

I know people out there getting close to a double digit OC and that in itself is sick and take a hell of a lot to get it there

I figure most here do mild OC's I think the Top ten are too wild for everyone else

Maybe yeah, I still don't think our OC's are that big, not compared to the OCN leaderboards anyway, but them guys are plain mental with LN2 and stuff. We don't have a resident LN2 OC'er yet thankfully lol.

I was planning on getting shot of my 8Gb vengeance for a better 16Gb kit but since that fire at the Hyinx lab ram prices have shot up. So i'll sit it out untill it comes back down again..

He's trying to break 9.39Ghz at the min :shock:
He showed me a screenie of another Pi 32M run he'd just done, Cpu 7808.81Mhz, Cpu/nb 4259.5Mhz, Ht 2839.57Mhz and single channel mem @2650 cl9.

Mental stuff Next time they do an LN2 show in gloucester he's gonna send someone to pick me up to watch which should be pretty good fun They get really bad heads from the LN2 phumes though which is a bit of a bitch.

Hey guys I've been fiddling with the 3770K again, a new one, and I get this odd thing on reboots.

Here's what I have:



When I try to start an AV scan (Norton) the program closes. CPUz quits working at times along with IE10 and Windows Explorer. I have the Vcore offset at + 0.07V.

First thing I have to ask is why are you using BCLK to overclock at such a low level Gary? Mine becomes unstable when I get as high as 103 BCLK. I am guessing you have it set that high for your Ram OC? My advice would be to return it to 100 mate.

+1 although i'm not clued up on Intel i see plenty of post's telling peeps that messing with the BLCK just causes instability.
As for the EAaccess violation, I take it you have AI suite installed? It's only the latest one AI suite 3 thats been any good from what i have read and anything before 3 just causes problems/conflicts with other software.
Most posts i see refering to AI Suite are replied to with some variation of "Get rid of that **** its nothing but grief. There is a removal tool for it on the rog forum. I've not got the link to hand but can find it if anyone wants it..

Norton? Did they ever manage to make it usable as it always got a bad review in the past?

I just changed BCLK back to 100 and that seems to have fixed it. It had been running fine in the past though. The 103 came from the EZ Mode in BIOS.

Run this cleaner after uninstalling AI Suite to remove all related services

Removing the AI crap got rid if the error pop up too. Odd all that should start happening after 2-3 days of "normalcy".
