my mobo is not the best with OCing. its not really meant to go that high

LOL, I don't think any of our boards are "meant" to go over 5GHz. :p

Just 3-4 years ago this would require some sort of sub-ambient cooling.

Is it the motherboard in your spec's? If so it only has a single 8pin eps and the 8350 will draw over 300w from that single 8pin. Unless you're using a different board i'd be very warey of the voltage you're putting into it.
If you're running a different boar then no worries. Just thought i'd let ya know just incase ;)

hahah yea im using the one in my specs.

that clock was jut for validation. normal oc is 4.6ghz.

I had to return it because the northbridge was getting extremely hot.
