When installing drivers........I'd leave off the ASMedia ones for the USB 3.0 and SATA ports.

My only advice, AddRam, is before doing anything get a magnifying glass and check for bent CPU pins in the socket.

True Steve, a bent pin is hard to see. It can look like a dark or bright spot in the grid array, depending on the light direction. Move it around to see different light effects on it.

Why is that kelly? I have the drivers installed on my board and they have caused no problems. Granted, they are not as fast as the Intel ports, but they do work.

It's just another driver that has to load, and it slowed my boot/reboot time down. If it is needed, then by all means, install them and use them.......I don't use them and more than likely never will.

My only thing is if you look closely at the whole array of pins, you will first see an anomaly in one spot. Then check that spot very closely.

Agreed, I tried it and slowed boot times by 5 seconds. But, my board boots so slow, 5 seconds better would still be slow. But, it's all board. I timed it and it's like 8 seconds from 'starting windows'.

Brian, getting the cooler pump screws in the threads is a bit fiddly I think. I'm getting quite good at it though. I use a bright flashlight to help me see where the screws go and try to hold the assembly level and hit at least two holes before I let it go. Start one a few turns then get the others. I've only been finger tightening them two and it's a tight fit up near the plastic armor.

If you use the 35mm assist fans, the wires are a little hard to hide but can be done.

Well since he is putting the Mobo in he should put the back plate and screws on that way when he is almost done he can put the pump inside and tighten the screws that is what I do with a new mobo the one installed is a whole other issue lol

Just makes it easier and faster and frustration levels will be low

Things are not going too well for me, I have no GPU, no CPU and now my 27" main monitor decided to die today! It is not powering on at all, tried a different power cable, no joy
Thankfully it comes with a manufacturers 3 year warranty as it's nearly 2 years old.
But who knows how long the RMA process will take, I can't even contact support until Monday as they are closed weekends

Edit- Scratch that, the monitor has decided to start working again

You could install it in a folder on your hard drive and use it. It might be worth a shot, seems as something else in causing a conflict somehow.
