2 questions, 1. when will the 64 bit capability be activated in IE 11 for windows 7.
2. Will I lose any functionality by using it (like not having the Flash player in the older versions)?

Welcome to the Seven Forums.
I'm pretty sure that IE11 is just like IE10 in that (on a 64bit system) IE10 always starts in the 64bit mode.

It is as I thought:
IE11 (on a 64bit OS) will create 64bit children if EPM is turned ON.
IE11 (on a 64bit OS) will create 32bit children if EPM is turned ON, but a 32bit plug-in is needed.
IE11 (on a 64bit OS) will always create 32bit children if EPM is turned OFF.
The "children" do the surfing.
Flash works fine too.
