Solved Windows 7 won't boot after install

yup commands successful
when i restart(without the installation cd) it says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key
it then brings me back to the setup

What setup??? The win7 install DVD is not inserted.....

I did let you rewrite the MBR. But I think win7 install does by default.
bootmgr and bootmenu is now on win7 partition not on vista partition. Maybe vista bootmgr amd/or menu was corrupt(?)

We'll never know. Mark thread as SOLVED
