Just finished off Mass Effect 3. Great game, especially with the added DLC. Fully enjoyed it.

You have to play it with the DLC, otherwise the game isn't so great.

I see you quoted me but missed what I said? Or was there a different meaning?

I knew you played it with the DLC, but if you don't play the game with the DLC, it isn't worth £30/£40.

Well I boycotted EA until about a month ago, to intentionally wait to game out till it went cheap... got it for 15 bucks, than spent on the DLC.

Well worth it buy then, even with the money spent on the DLC. I just wasn't giving EA the full price for a game clearly missing some content, like the day 1 DLC release.

Anyway they got some money from me, but not near what they would have gotten had I played their suckers game.

And yeah, DLC is downloadable content (aka game content add-ons).

Yeah, especially EA with their day 1 release material. Clearly if it's day 1, it probably should have been in the game anyway. But.... I'm sure there's some BS justification they'll throw our way when questioning such things.

Just got a playstation vita.

Playing Killzone Mercenaries and Assassins creed liberation. Really loving this handlheld. I got uncharted golden abyss and black ops declassified for it as well. I have Playstation Plus so I am getting a ton of free games for it.

Plus a ton of other games.

That is what i never understood some games offer mods like crazy for free while people like UBISOFT 2K
and EA few others that come to mind that want you to buy DLC for like $5 to 10 bucks a pop

If it doesn't come free from the jump i am just happy with the game itself that was the purpose of my purchase anyway right not for all the extra crap that really doesn't make the game any different then if it came with it

I just never saw it worth the money and then you have rogue programers that make free mods so....

I don't mind paying for DLC, but what I do mind is the day 1 release where you have to pay to get. This to me is a clear indication of content that should have been included in the game, but due to time constraints didn't make, but is suddenly available for purchase.

So, X-Company tells X-Developer you have x amount of time to produce game. The developer tries to meet deadline but can't and has to cut material. X-Company, not wanting to miss out on profits, figures. hey, we have this extra material, why not profit by it; thus day 1 release material. It's not quite that simple, but you get the drift.

Anyway that's the BS I have a problem with.

Your current card is fine, don't really need to upgrade imo. I say just get a ps3 with it or something else.

I would wait on the ps3, They will get even cheaper as time goes on cause of the ps4. As well as the games. And don't buy the new ps3 12GB edition one. Its made kinda flimsy and 12GB fills up quick. Try and buy a ps3 slim with 120GB hdd or more.

Or go for the launch ps3 so you can also play ps2 games on it.

Note: You can always upgrade the HDD in the ps3 as well as the ps4.

Like Miguel said no need if you go to the Firestrike benchmarks my 7970 caught up to a 290 little more tweeking probably could beat it but also i was using Lucid MVP too
