Need to constantly refresh to make files go to the bin

My source is Rapidshare Clean install you say ? Well I have no choice I see................ Ahhh So many editing apps, takes forever to install again

RapidShare is a conduit, not a source.

In reply to the title of the thread.....

I had the same issue, having to refresh after deleting a file in order for it to 'go away'. I found the solution was to

• open explorer
• click 'Organize' then 'Folder and Search options'
• click the 'View' tab then click 'Reset Folders'

In conclusion, some modification to the folder activity & layout was causing this issue but i never found out exactly what it was

And you may want to consider a different copy of W7 ... you never know what little nasties have been left behind...

This did not work for me. This isn't about folders, it's about a file on the desktop that when you delete it, it's still there and the only way to get rid of it from showing up is to refresh the desktop. Resetting "folders" does nothing for a "file".
