I wish to create a multi-boot USB, I have done this before with ease but cant remember the program, sure you simply dropped the ISO's into a folder and when you boot from USB it ran a linux type program that would detect the ISO's and allow you too launch them....such as windows 7 iso etc.

can anyone help me do this?

I have a 64Gb stick I wish to install OEM AIO versions of windows XP/Vista/7/8 so I can use them to install onto computers - also Hirens etc

thanks

hi, thanks for your response

i tried YUMI and its perfect but it names all the vista/7/8 installers with same names...suppose you cud put them on in order

it only works if you let it format the drive FAT32 too... no NTFS

also if i choose "non-listed ISO's using SYSLINUX" (so it shows the ISO name) i get error right at end and when i try too boot it just stays at the SYSLINUX screen with flashing cursor, Iam now attempting same thing with GRUB IN RAM

I've used Xboot to create multi-boot USB drives. It creates a nice menu.

If one of the other suggested programs is easier to use or works better, use it.

I don't know why it names all the installers with the same name for you, unless all your ISOs are named the same ?
For me, it uses the name of the ISO being added.

Yes, it has to be formatted as FAT32.
Use the Try an Unlisted ISO option when adding a bootable ISO.

See steps 2 and 3 in Golden's tutorial for a more detailed explanation with screen prints.

because I use the option "Windows Vista/7/8 Loader" and no matter what your ISO is named you go into that section and it has many options all named as above..try it and see..but it does...I also tried and "unlisted ISO via SYSLINUX" like I said but right at the end theres an error saying something about unable to find a configuration file - I tried the XP Installer to with a bootable XP ISO and that failed to work using the "Windows XP Installer" option in YUMI ...so it would seem so far im not having much luck... I just want multiple bootable windows ISO's on a stick I can choose from

edit: tried XBOOT but it fails on choosing ISO options, iam currently trying grub option on it

edit2: ISO/Grub option works but you need to have all your ISO's ready as you can not add/remove like others...it will only re-create the whole thing once

thanks

i would like to add some rescue stuff on too like hirens.. XBOOT seems to work but i left it running and came back from work with error and i think its when its went to add win7 AIO which is larger than 4Gb - it was supposed to use 19Gb but only 8Gb had been used:

just seen this, I replaced the spaces with underscores so that should work?
