No Wireless Connection Available on Laptop - Drivers Missing?

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire M5-583p-6324. I went from Windows 8.1 > Ubuntu 14.04 for class, needed it to do Fortran on, and now I decided to go back to Windows 7 in order to do Java on and play some games. However, as was the case on Ubuntu, my wireless isn't working, and I can't seem to find any drivers for Windows 7. Any help?

Marton, you will need to go to Acer's website and download the wireless drivers from them.

The drivers are only available for windows 7 and my laptop model is not listed on the site

So you purchased another license for Win7?

There are two things you can do now:

1. Reinstall Win8 since that was the original operating system on the laptop
2. Go to the manufacturers website of the wireless card and download the drivers directly from them. If you do not know the model of you wireless card you can find it by downloading and running Hwinfo32/64 HWiNFO32/64 4.40 Trusted Free download - tested and reviewed software downloads from SnapFiles
