Missing Wireless Drivers on Windows 7 Laptop

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire M5-583p-6324. I went from Windows 8.1 > Ubuntu 14.04 for class, needed it to do Fortran on, and now I decided to go back to Windows 7 in order to do Java on and play some games. However, as was the case on Ubuntu, my wireless isn't working, and I can't seem to find any drivers for Windows 7. Any help?

Forgot to add, Acer only offers Windows 8 drivers for the laptop model.

I take it you have tried the Windows 8 Drivers ? ...


Select the Network Adapter right click select Property's / Details Tab ...

In the Volume section there should be some info there ...

Please Post it ...

I attempted to find drivers myself. The internet works, however seems to shut down my home network randomly and will not connect to a password protected wireless source at my work, even with the proper connections. Here is my device manager window

any ideas? i installed a large amount of various drivers i found while googling but nothing seems to work properly

It is not a Driver problem you have .... Read the Link below and go to Step 6 ...

It seems like a driver issue but here:

(note that i found these drivers after little research and they may not be the right ones)

the internet is also extremely slow on here with wireless (50kb/s DL when i normally get 5MB/s DL on my wired desktop)

Looks as if the Windows 8 Driver works with Windows 7 ... Read the Link below that is the exact same Version of your Windows 8 Driver ..
