FREEZING Issue - Possible Driver Failure?

Issue: Every so often, my computer will experience a freeze, where the screen freezes up and, if audio is playing, loops rapidly. The issue resolves by itself after about 2-5 minutes and my computer carries on normally. After the initial reboot after the issue, chkdsk ran, and came out clear for my C: (OS) drive. After it happened again and I reboot, it ran on my G: (Games) drive, and encountered some errors but seemed to fix the sector issues.

When: It's occurred during initializing full window mode in Netflix, watching YouTube, Playing World of Warcraft, etc. I'm unsure if the issue occurs when idle.

Recent changes: I re installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64, two days ago and all seemed fine. Did all of my driver updates successfully but am now encountering this freeze up. I've monitored CPU/GPU/PSU/Mobo temps and everything looks great so I don't believe it's deriving from overheating. I had my i5 OC'd and have since returned it to default settings. I noticed that once the computer un froze for the first couple of times, I got an error telling me that my on board intel graphics had stopped responding, and so I updating those drivers and havnt encountered that message again. Other than reinstalling my OS, I did use a small metro-vac air compressor to dust off my components, but I believe that damage to any components would be pretty slim.

Please let me know of any log/diagnostic files needed to help me solve the issue. This sounds like it's an issue with common side effects so someone may have an idea right off the bat.

I really appreciate all of the help on the fourms and thanks for your time!

note: I uploaded the chkdsk from my C: drive just in case.

Sounds like it could be driver related either graphical or audio.

It would really help if you could fill in your system specs.

also attach your dump files if you have any and your driver information.

Try the driver verifier:

Driver Verifier will stress your drivers and cause BSODs if any fail. Follow this tutorial to enable/disable it. Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Enable Driver Verifier but only enable these options:
Standard settings and IRP logging step 3.
Don't enable Force Pending I/O Requests

Warning
Make a System Restore point before enabling Driver Verifier.

Note
Your system will act very sluggishly while DV is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

I don't have any dump files, I have some event viewer errors. Which ones in particular should I be on the look out for and what's the best way to compile them all into a convenient format? I also enabled Driver Verifier and will update with any BSOD's/crashses that occur.

Edit: the freeze occurred whilst I was editing this post. Where do I need to look in my event viewer for the proper correlating log? The message popped up on my toolbar stating that my Display driver igfx stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

It's also worth noting that i'm encountering time/clock issues. They're slight but I noticed my time reset and gmail is telling me incorrect times when I received emails. I'm unsure if this is a reoccuring issue as I only noticed it upon bootup this morning.

Intel® Driver Update Utility

Already done. I ran the Driver Utility last night and there was an update available. I updated the Graphics Driver and the issue still persists. There doesnt seem to be any other driver updates available for my Intel Graphics or Chipset.

I uninstalled my existing drivers, then encountered rapid BSOD's from verifier because I removed the driver so I had to go safe mode > disable verifier > reboot > install 14.4 drivers and they installed successfully, though I think the 14.100 is mis leading. My DXDIAG still says 14.100 as well as in Device Manager for my GPU, but in the Catalyst Control Center, the version is 14.4 so I think i'm alright. I do think the 14.4 is the CCC version, not the Driver version for the GPU?

I'll keep testing the computer to see for re occurrences, thank you for your help and anyone feel free to chime in with ideas.

EDIT: I also added those BSOD errors from Verifier in case it some how contains useful information but I imagine it's just stating that my GPU drivers are no where to be found.

Issue still persists. Was browsing forums and upon clicking to open a new tab, it occurred. I was listening to Radio Head and the audio doesn't seem to loop but more so just go into an absolute slow crawl giving it a very glitchy appearance.
