I can't pin point the problem.. it's driving me mad. My computer keeps blue screening when I run games, but it's not all games. I can run Guild Wars 2 on the max settings but I can't run a cell shaded game like Mabinogi on medium settings. Borderlands 2 crashes my computer literally the second I double click it and press PLAY on Steam. Please, help, I'm losing my mind in anger.

One thing, my PSU's fan died but I got an external fan to blow air into it from the back, since then I've been able to play all the games that would've otherwise overheated my computer and shut it down, so it's not that. This is a new problem. I've cleaned the holy hell out of it with Advance System Care Ultimate 7, SuperAntiSpyware, IOBit Uninstaller, I've done it all. Changed power settings, made sure my graphics card wasn't overheating/overclocking..

HELP

Hi There,

These are hardware related,

Code:
BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa800da6c8f8, 0, 0}

Probably caused by : hardware

Followup: MachineOwner

Here's some info and things to try,

http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html

Let's do some hardware tests

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.
Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

Stress test the CPU.
Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Let us know the results.

And get rid of that IOBIT garbage you're playing with, that stuff is snake oil.

Well I got rid of the IOBit like you recommended. It handled Furmark well enough, it got up to 79 degrees Celcius and kind of plateaued there. I stress tested the CPU with 6 testers and none of them came up with any errors. I am not overclocking anything, I've never taken any efforts to even attempt overclocking. The computer isn't hot, I don't think, it's been running for a few hours and these are the Speccy temperatures. Is it a power voltage failure when I run a game or something?
