BSOD When Running Certain Games, Error 0x000000F4

Greetings everyone. I would greatly appreciate some help with this issue. The BSOD that I am currently receiving is: 0x000000F4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xFFFFFA800B616880, 0xFFFFFA800B616B60, 0xFFFFF8003390350). I seem to receive this issue only when playing certain games such as XCom: Enemy Unknown or the new ShadowRun Returns.

I attempted to set up a small memory dump so that I could attempt to analyze it with a program but at the BSOD it is saying:
Collecting data for crash dump...
Initializing disk for crash dump...
Physical memory dump FAILED with status 0xC0000010

By way of background, I experienced a similar issue approximately 8 months ago, (I was receiving an F4 BSOD error but I do not remember if the numbers in the parentheses were the same), whenever I would run my virus scan (Microsoft Security Essentials) or play certain games. I was told by my computer manufacturer that it was probably due to a bad windows update install and to reformat the computer. I reformatted the computer and have not had the error repeat until within the last month or two. In the interim, I swapped out a 1 GB NVIDIA GT520 for a XFX AMD R7870 2GB Black Edition.

Please let me know where to go from here as I would like to determine if this is a hardware or software issue so that I can finally get it fixed and if anyone needs anymore information about the PC please let me know. I attached the SF Diagnostic Tool Zip as requested.

Edit: Originally, this error seemed to be occurring intermittently only when playing certain games as I described above. However, as of today, the error now seems to be occurring consistently whenever I boot up any game including games that I have not had BSOD problems with previously. I have not noticed it occurring otherwise thus far.

Probably caused by : rspCrash64.sys ( rspCrash64+108b )

The only dump file available seems to be a self inflicted one, the above BSOD is manually created by the user.

I downloaded WhoCrashed (Home Edition) so that I could attempt to analyze the dump file. I did a Crash Dump Test with WhoCrashed and I believe that is the dump file that it created. Whenever I get the BSOD when running a game it gives me:
Collecting data for crash dump...
Initializing disk for crash dump...
Physical memory dump FAILED with status 0xC0000010

and as far as I can tell does not create a new dump file.

I already had it set up to do a Minidump/Small Memory Dump and that is the dump that seems to be failing. Should I attempt to change it to a kernel or complete memory dump?

Additionally, as of yesterday I could not run any games without the PC giving me the BSOD, however, after leaving the computer off through the night and day today, it hasn't BSOD'd yet tonight and seems to have gone back to the intermittent status.

I would leave it at a Minidump for now, and 0xC0000010 is related to when Windows can't save the dump file to the hard drive for some reason. I would suggest running some hard drive diagnostics too, since Stop 0xF4's tend to disk related.

Run some hard-drive diagnostics and follow these steps:

• Hard Drive Diagnostic Procedure

Find your hard-drive manufacturer and run their tests.

Additional Tests:

• SeaTools for DOS | Seagate
• CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World

Post a screenshot of Crystal Disk Info summary:

If you have an SSD, make sure the following are up to date:

• SSD firmware
• BIOS Version
• Chipset Drivers
• Hard disk controller drivers/SATA drivers
• If you have a Marvell IDE ATA/ATAPI device, make sure the drivers are up to date from the Intel site or Marvell site and not from your motherboard/vendor support site.

Check for any file system errors and bad sectors using Option #2 of:

Use this command with Disk Check:

chkdsk C: /f /r

I found my HD manufacturer, Seagate, and ran the test. Strangely, it could not detect any drives.

I ran a disk check and did not have any file system errors and/or bad sectors (I did this last night prior to your post and also defragmented the drive).

Your filesystem and S.M.A.R.T values seem to be fine, which is good, but with the Seagate not finding the hard drives then, there's a few suggestions you could try:

• The BIOS does not detect or recognize the ATA / SATA hard drive

It's more related to the BIOS not detecting the hard drive, but the suggestions can still apply to the test. I firstly boot into the BIOS and then check if the hard drive is detected.

I think the hard drive is detected? I'll list what the BIOS stated and hopefully you can let me know.

SATA6G_1 (Gray) (Hot Plug) Not Present - Disabled
SATAG_2 (Gray) (Hot Plug) My Hard Drive Number - Disabled

I enabled the SATAG_2 and tried to rerun the SeaTools but it did not change the outcome, it still did not recognize a hard drive as being present.

Should I continue with checks 2-5 from your link?
