it don't beep with the video card in. I don't think the motherboard has a speaker because I had a bad memory stick an it didn't beep like they normally do, it just wouldn't let windows load till I took the bad stick out.

The speaker is probably in the case with wires going to the motherboard speaker connections. You need that speaker as a test tool. How did you run a BIOS test? Was the video card installed?
I'll wait for either a speaker or a power supply so I'm done here for now.

I have a old DELL monitor with a VGA connector. that's the only one I have. and here is a picture of the back of the pc. the long purple plug (not seen in picture) behind the monitor plug is the old printer plug. im not sure what the one below the monitor plug is though I thought it was the oldschool gamepad connector but my old wingman flight stick wont fit so I guess not.

9 Pin port below VGA is an old COMM or serial port for old external modem or old type mouse. Yes, the long purple/pink port is an old type printer port.
I remember several years ago I had to have 2 monitors hooked up to be able to change from the onboard VGA to the
add-in card video display when powering up in the Bios Setup.
